Description: A lovely fragrant musty, herbaceous sweet, long-lasting aroma with woody / Rose overtones. The essential Oil colour ranges from Yellow to Orange, depending on the origin and Distillation method used. The essential Oil yield from the leaves is quite low (about 0.1%). On average we have seen instances where it can take up to 1500 kilos of freshly collected flowers to create 1 kilo of the precious Certified Organic Cistus Oil. The pure and original essential Oil is quite mobile / pourable, so if you are offered a quite gloopy / viscous product then that is most likely Labdanum Resinoide, which costs a fraction of the price. Suggestions for Use: Long known for its purifying and wound healing abilities. Popular in Perfumery as a fixitive.
