INCI Name: Pelargonium graveolens syn: Pelargonium X asperum

Origin: Madagascar

Description: Distilled Essential oil of Pelargonium graveolens from the high plateau of Central Madagascar. This is the same as La Reunion Geranium Bourbon, but as the term Bourbon is unique to La Reunion, the Madagascan material can only be termed as 'Bourbon Type'. The main harvest takes place between November and April each year.

Suggestions for Use:The Bourbon Geranium Essential oil is sweeter in aroma than the Egyptian Geranium Essential Oil. Its dark Green colour differentiates it from Egyptian Geranium which is Straw Yellow to Golden in Colour. Good quality Geranium Bourbon type has an intense Floral Rosy character.
